Cézanne Apple Paintings
This Cézanne apple painting lesson is like a loaded baked potato–brimming with learning at every angle. Introduce painting procedures, clean up expectations and reinforce how to operate within the art room while teaching color theory through the magic of paint! Light up children’s imagination by playing pretend with the brush as a magic wand, able to change yellow into green, and do all sorts of wonderful things!
I’ve done this with kindergartners but I can see this being very well suited for 1st, 2nd and even 3rd graders! Try it out in your art classroom, as a part of a camp, after-school club or homeschool group.
