Terms of service.

The Studio Art Club was formed to encourage a love for art and to help children and adults of all ages explore known and hidden talents. For the safety and welfare of all involved, personally or as the parent or guardian of your child, you agree to the following:

  1. Our goal is to foster a positive learning environment filled with fun and creativity for both students and parents. You and/or your child agree to treat all participants and instructors of the Studio Art Club with kindness and respect.

  2. Art can get messy so you agree you and/or your child will come properly dressed for art class: this means wearing shoes and either a smock or clothing that can get dirty and may be stained.

  3. We will use a wide range of materials in our art projects, including but not limited to: paint, glue, pastels, chalk, fiber, wax, glue guns, hammers and sometimes sharp objects. While we do our best to monitor every person’s use of these materials, accidents may occur from time to time due to the inherent risk in using these materials. You agree, or give your permission for your child, to participate in the Studio Art Club programs and do release and hold it harmless from any and all liability that may arise in connection with your or your child’s participation in the Studio Art Club’s programs.

  4. You understand that these materials are not meant for consumption. You will not, and will instruct your child to not, consume any art materials and to always conduct yourself/themselves in a safe manner.

  5. The safety of you and/or your child and others is our top priority. You acknowledge that you have, or your child has, no physical, emotional or social conditions that could make you, or your child, dangerous to others or that would make it unwise for you or your child to safely participate in our art programs.

  6. We may take photographs, video, and/or audio ("Media") during our art classes to post on our social media or newsletters. We are the sole owner of any Media and may use the Media in any way, at our sole discretion. You grant us permission to use you or your child's image and art without any restriction and waive your right to inspect or approve the Media.

  7. You agree that you and your child will not come to any Studio Art Club activity if you or your child are showing symptoms such as a fever, persistent cough, chills or body aches. While we will attempt to keep the Studio Art Club clean and sanitary, you acknowledge that these art classes are a social and public activity and that you and your child are participating at your own free will and accept the risk of exposure to any sickness, illness or disease and will not hold the Studio Art Club responsible should you or your child contract any sickness or disease.
